Chicken "mutt" club!!!

Looking for help identifying the mother of this mystery chick. The father is 3/4 australorp 1/4 EE. The options for mother are 1 identical to the father, 2 barred rocks, 2 buff orps, and a pure australorp. Her 3 siblings all look to be mostly australorp. I just can't figure how we ended up with a mostly white chick.

looks mostl EE, so maybe identical to father? It might be part barred rock, but definitely mostlh EE

You have amazing looking dinosaur chickens.  I always enjoy looking at your photos.  It is really interesting to see what full crops look like when they are not covered in feathers.

I agree... I looked at it and im like "can I see through a chickens feathers all of a sudden?" "WHAT the heck is THIS!" I want one! But hos to keep it warm in winter....

I have to ask, was it born that way? And also, is it okay if I save those photos for later ?

Yes Rudy hatched w/o feathers. He is scaleless and has no feather follicles or scales. It is a natural genetic mutation that has been around since the 1950's

Omg... definitely dinosaur chicken....
