Chicken names?

I don't give names to my chickens, because I personally don't want to think of them as pets. That probably puts me in the minority on the BYC forums. At any rate, I'm not too creative with names. Having said that, I think a good name for a Buff Orpington would be Goldie Hawn. Feel free to consider that if it fits. Will be reading other posts to see what names come up.

Do you give names to your chickens? If so, what are some of your favorites?
I like to name my birds, they each have a certain character, plus it's fun to call them in the yard. It seems to have helped my roo Hank to obey me a little, lol. I hatched chicks last May and only Popeye has gotten a name, because she's 'special' and I have a hard time telling the other two apart. What about you?

I name my birds....they may only be here for 1-2 laying cycles, but while they are here they have names....it doesnt keep me from selling or culling and I like naming them so:confused:
This years bunch will be a combination of Shakespearean characters, and female characters from steel magnolias and friends green tomatoes
