Chicken names?

These are GREAT!!! I was able to convince my daughter that Smoke was better than grey.....

We have one that keeps pecking at her and she wants to name it Jerk.

and one polish I'm not sure if it's a boy or a girl...if it's a boy he will be Onslo....but right now we call it Lola....because of her long legs. My daughter named her Polish hen Doyle. We don't know why.

They come running when I drive up into the driveway, even if it's close to dusk and they've already roosted. Here they come flying out of the trees! When I get home late (after dark), I hear them rustling in the trees & clucking. If they could see at night, I'm sure they'd be greeting me then too.

Oh yes, the girls have name. It was the only way I could guarantee that they would remain pets/egg layers as opposed to barbecue. The three Barred Rock are Collar, Bib, and Ossie. Collar was a charcoal colored chick with a white "collar;" Bib was the same except that she had a white "V" on her chest that looked like a baby bib; and Ossie would stretch and crane her neck, looking like a tiny ostrich. The three Rhode Island Reds are Cheewee (cheewees are orange, aren't they?); Julius (Orange Julius); and Kiwi (my daughter liked the name...). They are very entertaining. Who knew?
