Chicken Ordinance, UGH!

I actually decided to move the coop to the area of my yard I found that allows me to stay within the ordinance, and I also decided to try quail first, they take up less room and I easily picked up about 17 of the little buggers!
Still working out coop design, but I have a few weeks before it'll be decent enough outside to do anything, so they are in the brooder with a heat lamp, staying toasty! :)

Did you measure it to be sure?? I can't think of anything worse that you get your coop built, believing it to be in a green zone, and come to find out it's not! Especially if a cranky neighbor is involved!

What are you planning to do with your quail? Growing up, a guy around the corner (in the country, that meant he was really a couple miles away) raised and released quail. It was always awesome to come across one in the wild...they are beautiful birds!!!!
