Chicken pecked badly, need advice!

It is essential that tendons aren't allowed to dry out. If you are using a gel antibiotic this will hopefully be enough to keep it moist. Dry tendons snap and then won't be able to heal. ( I was a nurse, I've treated exposed tendons on people and assume the same would apply for chicken tendons. If anyone knows better please correct me.)
Good to know! Thank you!!

Here's my scalped cockerel today, you can't even tell he was scalped to the bone and that you could see his tendons on the one side. The hens ripped his skin off down to his back.

Awe he’s beautiful!! Way to go mom!!! 🙌🏼❤️

I’ve noticed when the hen eats I hear a lot of gurgling, and burping. She also has been standing periodically with her mouth open. She doesn’t shake her head a ton, but does occasionally. I’m wondering if she may have gape worms? I have ivermectin and fenbendazole, and have been using the fenbendazole to treat for worms because she’s so thin. I haven’t seen any worms in her poop. I’m on day 4 of fenbendazole. How should I proceed?
