Last week huge week for chicks! Wed I installed netting over coop and canopy, expanding their run to about 10 x 50. I needed help from a guy at church, the FOLDING of netting and getting it over everything wad hard and two man job. This day, as soon as we let them onto new grass, my lead girl Tania caught a baby frog! She almost started a chicken uprising!
Also, they have learned to go in the coop at night. I kind of herd them, as opposed to catching ten chickens by hand. There goes my hour of cardio!
AND! I figured out my strange acting girl is a rooster! Good Lord that opens up a can of worms! So they are now six weeks and so much fun.
