One of my chickens has mostly dark yellow, loose poop. I’ve also seen dark brown/black loose poop. And some has red in it but those are not loose.

what do I do? All are eating and drinking normally.
Poop pic of the yellow I’m seeing the most. It’s been going on on and off since I got them 6 weeks ago. I HAVE seen her poop normally, but not lately.

the one I’ve seen produce this does also seem to shake her head more than the others. And pants more often. I’m not sure if she’s just less heat hardy?

Behavior, much more than poop appearance, is an indicator of chicken health. Poop varies from day to day, and even hour to hour, according to what chickens eat and how much they drink.

After a while, you will become acquainted with all the wide variations of poop, and if a chicken suddenly behaves with lethargy, stops talking, is sleepy during the day instead of being active, appetite is off, and the poop is not in the normal range of what you've come to expect, then chances are the chicken has a health issue.

How old are your chickens?

So this could be normal?

the one I see it from the most is about 15 weeks, I’ve also seen it from the others which are 12/13 weeks.

It's one of the many versions of cecal poop. I see that color from time to time in my flock, and I don't become concerned over it.

However, it might have significance if the chicken that produced it is acting sick.

The only thing she does that concerns me otherwise is the head shaking. She’s had some wheezing but it seems to have subsided.
