Great article. Very well worth reading. I know someone from one of my gardening forums that has a coop with a raised wire floor. She has compost bins underneath the floor and all the poop falls through into them. She just pulls the bins out and rakes around under the coop via a side door to clean. Dumps it all in her compost pile, puts the empty bin back in and she's done. I am seriously considering do that. So much easier...
