I need a new place to hang out, you guys aren't helping my addiction at all. I got a bad case of chicken (spring) fever.
I'm either gonna have order hatching eggs, chicks, incubate some of my own eggs or just go down the TSC and slobber over the chicks there.
I'm about to loose my mind here.

I am now in love with them. They have really neat personalities and their little topnotches of feathers are starting to "sprout". So cute and sweet. Oh and they lay white eggs which is a color I need for my rainbow egg basket!

We started out with 6 biddies of a straight run4 years back, 5 were cockerels. The one hen hatched out 3; we have 1 hen from that clutch. She gives one egg daily.I now have chicken fever blended with Spring fever! Every spring I'm hoping to gather a few more hens for my flock. We still have just two hens wiyh our 1 rooster. He's ready for more hens to come home to his roost . . . any day!

I have witnessed a singing telegram before...I was mortified for the recipient. But couldn't help but grin ear to ear watching the show!!!
