Long time no talk my fine Chicken friends. Its been very busy with weaning the calves. Lots of Moooing. Got a BLM Mustang from its previous owner, lol. My new mare Mustang came from southwestern Montana and is a nice Grulla color. I can now ride side by side with my lovely wife without riding together on one horse or borrowing another of the same hieght.

We have 11 horses, we have two older mares and then 4 younger colts and then some geldings and a younger Bay mare, Mississippi. We've ridden two of the older colts, Breck and Little Bit, but haven't worked with them much lately.

I've about had my fill of craigslist flakes! Or people writing with such urgency that they MUST have your XXX, please get a hold of them asap. And when responding in a timely manner, them saying, oh, no, I'm not interested at this time! Drives. Me. Bonkers!
Just had a woman tell me how perfect a dog we have listed would be for her. She gave me her background story, the vet she uses, etc, etc. When I told her she could come visit and meet the dog, she said her husband isn't as interested in getting a dog as she is, so she'll have to pass. Would you NOT have that conversation already before responding to an ad? I repeat. Drives. Me. Bonkers.

Yah, I just had one - thankfully CL person #2 DID come through. First one wrote me immediately telling me how much they'd love my ladies + roo and it would be so great for their kids yada yada.. 24 hours goes by and I email them to see if they still want them or should I go to the next email. The guy writes back with the 'my wife won't let me, can I just have hens?' excuse.. Anyone else ever tell your DH "Oh, just tell them your wife says no" just to give them a good excuse? LOL. And NO you can't have just hens (which was in my ad).. Thankfully the next family showed up with five kids and picked up my poor roo + 2 hens.

Yes, this is why I don't deal with Craigslist. And yes a REAL Mustang Horse and I've been saying the wrong word for the color, its Grullo, basically charcoal socks, mane, tail and jaw with a lightning of dark grey on the body. She stands at around 15 hands and loves to gallop, which my Black Paint (Sugar) is still building up too, shes a bit lazy, lol.
Fluffy in all I have seven horses/ponies. A filly and colt thats nearing six months each. They are already sold and my wife is working on their training. The colt is going to be a stud, lucky him.
Got a Gypsy Vanner Piebald mix mare (Cassie) who is very Green, the new Mustang (no new name yet), two Connermera/Icelandic pony geldings (Thor) and (Odin). Thor is black and Odin is Grey. (Sugar) is my first horse and still my favorite. She is a broodmare paint, thats all black with a white blot on her forehead and a white dot on her belly, making her a paint, lol. She can throw paint foals and has a gorgeous father.
