I think that's about the way it's going to go, daisychick! I've heard two little cheeps and that just makes it even better! Seriously awesome. I totally understand why BYCers get addicted to hatching.

I usually try to sleep through the hatching process, but sometimes you just gotta stay up.

OK, went to bed just like you kind folks suggested. Only woke up twice and had to convince myself to NOT GO CHECK! So...nothing new. The little pip is still there. Is that normal? How long normally from pip to zip? How do I know if something has gone wrong? (much useless hand wringing here, folks!)

Yes I'm assuming we are back to goats here, unless someone is hatching milking chickens.

Yes I will have to breed the goats in the Spring if I want milk, so that would mean babies.

But.....it is a long way from Colorado to where all these ladies live.
