Yes, we've never been able to catch one either, but we have it set just the same. Last night something must have eaten the bait...as it was gone this morning. It could have been our two 'house' cats. They roam around in the yard at night...they know we will feed something. Or it could have been the bob-cat, but I doubt it as he would have set it off, whereas the tiny 'house' cats wouldn't have set it off as they don't weigh hardly anything.

Darn bobcats! Aren't they supposed to be in the zoo???

See, that's your problem. You have WILD bobcats!! And since you're in Texas I'm sure they are REALLY BIG wild bobcats! Maybe you should try cooked chicken. Bobcats are just large house cats - or house cats are just small bobcats depending on the view. ALL my cats are attracted to the smell of cooked chicken. Maybe it would work better to lure them into the trap. Might have to lock up the house/barn cats though...

They are adorable little balls of fluff!! What breed are they?? They look like bantams - so tiny!

It is a Serama. Oh, and there is only one baby..just so ya know.

I went to feed this morning and I found my broody bantam hen, Stella, with a black biddie under her.

I am going to bring her up to the yard and give her all the Guinea keets to raise.

I decided I like my Lavender Guineas better than the Pearl or Pieds. The Lavenders are so calm, and much easier to tame down. I may just switch over to them. I got my Lavenders from a friend, and she got hers from her uncle. I wonder if it's just my strain of Lavs I have, or if all Lavenders are more "docile'?

Our 'house' cats have never been in the house, I just meant they hang around the house.

Or..I have a couple of roosters that I don't really care much about, I could turn a couple of those loose, and just wait with the gun..I bet ya 10 to 1 he'll come out and try and grab one.
