Good Morning everybody! I have been working all weekend building pens for my wife. So many more breeding pens needed....

Ooh...what are you working on? We've just started a new coop for our breeders....focusing on the Silkies and Ameraucanas right now. I have some feelers out for EXCELLENT quality (top of the show line) Silkies, and I am busting at the seams with anticipation if I am getting adult birds.

I have been lurking here on BYC for a while and I want to add that I love this thread. How difficult to imagine birds taking over your life if you don't have them, but they sure DO!!!

I started with 6 feedstore chickens, and now have 13, and want an emu, turkeys, quail, ducks, geese......my family thinks I am bonkers. I can recognize most breeds of chickens just from looking. I am also addicted to reading Storey's Guide to raising.... series!
