Someone recommended the Tylan 200 injectable...but I couldn't find a store near me that sells it. Also, I wasn't sure enough of her symptoms to treat her with a different antibiotic than what I was using.

Doesn't that figure! No, you can't catch a cold from a chicken...when researching my BCM's illness/symptoms I read on several different threads that chickens don't catch colds. It is the same in my house, once everyone else is up and feeling great (animals, kids, DH) I am knocked out with something. It never fails, EVERY single holiday for the past 8 years, one or more of my family has been sick. Today it is me, with a nasty sore throat.
