AHHHH, I have chicken fever BAD right now!!! The DD has promised a "new" chicken coop this spring! (We're building onto and fixing up the shed to make a large, awesome, and house-matching chicken coop so that it's not an "eye-sore" in our yard

) I need chicks to hatch... The DM is worried about rooster popping up though, so I'd need to find someone to take the baby roosters in my area!

I'm just about jumping up and down with excitement though!

Well, I gotta go now and write a chapter of Banties to keep us on the front page

Hi my name is Crazychicken... I guess my fascination with all things feathered began when I was 11. I was home schooled and I was always liked science and Biology. So I saved up and bought an Incubator and managed to finagle my parents into letting me hatch eggs. I had a high hatch rate and raised the chicks until they were about a month old, then sold them because we lived in the city and could not keep them. Unfortunately the experience left me with chicken fever.... So whenever I got the itch to hatch I would start the cycle of finagling parents, hatching, raising and selling. When our family out grew our house we moved out into the country and built a house. Well lets see by then I had experience with hatching, I now had the land to have chickens, and my dad has some carpentry experience. I felt like a kid in a candy store so I got my hands on some eggs and here I am a few years later with a small coop and some mixed hens and a roo. Now I am looking into ordering some chicks, and since mum and dad want some meaties finagling what I want into the order might be easier than usual... See how often I have used different forms of finagle in the past paragraph, things would be so much easier if I could get my parents addicted.

I might end up having to buy chicks, but hopefully I can convince the family we can sell or give away any roosters we hatch... We got a rooster last time, and the DB's (dear brothers) got really attached, and I did too... The day that we gave him away

If it was ip to me, it would probably be painted bright colors.

G'morning, All! I had 2 of the crested E.E.s hatch last night, but I am nervous to go look at the bator this morning. Did they both make it through the night, did more hatch?

My first hatchlings! I am no longer hatching impaired. I was thinking about changing my title...
