3 years later - I currently have 21 chickens, (The now 12 BRs, 1 Silkie, 1 bearded d'anver, 1 bantam Brahma, and 6 EEs.) and 27 quail (hatched form my incubator) and tomorrow my Grandmother is merely fueling my addiction by buying me some Cornish hens and 5 of whatever I want.

Oh my addiction enabling family.
(And last week I had 10 show broilers...until er, freezer camp. lol)

Okay muggsmagee, looks like this needs to be retitled chickensnmore addiction ...... I'm going to have to stop coming here. Now I want emus... That's not happening. Is there anyoen here that can look at pics of my pumpkin hulseys to see if they are boys/girls. I just cannot see the differences....I bought 12 of them as chicks and they were 3 to 6 weeks old when delivered. I've had them quite a while now...it's about 2 months later.....I'm so afraid I have mostly rros although the seller assure me it was straight run.... Can any one help here or is there a good place to ask this elsewhere on BYC???? Thanks....No crowing yet, but a few of the older ones are getting bigger now! Thanks y'all.

Freddy ( really curious and friendly, did I mention he trys to fight w/ his reflection?

A white quail? Just like your icon! I love the names

Since I got Quinn and Aspen, I've been feeling guilty about spending so much time with them and not as much with the laying flock...

Not sure if it was first born and got too cold, or traumatized...momma chewed an ear off!

I wish I had caught it in time...and helped it.

From what I see, they are adorable. Cant wait to see them when they get fuzzy!
