Twice they did have ducks.

I just stand there and stare, anyone comes by i just laugh and tell them I only came in to look at the chicks. Yes, I live dangerous, fate is out to get me.

Just curious..what breeds did they have?

Assorted bantams, Cornish X, Golden Laced Wyandottes, and...I'm drawing a blank.

TSC is expected to get more in this week. I forgot one of the things I went in there for (5 gal buckets) and will have to go back. I'll be sure to put on my Wild Trapper game face and not impulse buy on chicks!

We got dumped with another HEAVY foot plus of snow last night. DH is out there blowing the driveway...the state plows left us with a huge 3 ft bank to plow through at the end of the driveway.

I have the McMurray ducks coming this week (Runners, Cayuga, Gold Star hybrid, Blue Swedish, Rouen, and Buff) and in April I have an order from Holderreads for Saxony and Welsh Harlequin. I really wish I bumped my order up with a few Silver Appleyards. I've been thinking about emailing them to throw a few in my order. WHAT AM I THINKING???

My DH doesn't care how many I have, he just told me that I better stay within the limits of what the current coops can hold, because he is not making another.

So to me that translates into: I can have however many I can handle, because if it comes down to it I will make myself new coops.

The only thing he limited me on was horses. I used to have 5 and now I have 1. but he never said no donkeys, so I have a mini one of those. So I figure I got rid of 4 horses and I can fit a lot of chickens in the space that 4 horses took up.
