Chicken (Poultry) Addiction Anonymous *Chat Thread*

Buff Polish Bearded, Mottled Crevour, Bearded d'Uccle, Silver Spangled, Golden Campine, Faverolle, White Orpington, Blue Orpinton and last but certainly not least Sultan.

So far so good all still alive. The older White Silkies are doing great. My ultra motherly hens one in the Partridge pen and one in the Buff Brahma pen just about went bonkers when I passed by them with two box's full of chickens. They started to cluck as if saying " Are those mine, does the stork look different now?"

They are sitting on one fake egg each, I suppose I could try and have them raise a few. Chickens aren't the smartest birds in the world as once I put in six chicks under "Mother" for the one fake egg she was sitting on and she accepted them all, lol.

ahem, I believe we are waiting for pictures

Yes, chores and seeing my niece superceded pictures. I got so much to do but it keeps RAINING. I could almost swim in some of my pastures. I have a small colony of wild Ducks and Geese living about a quarter mile from my house now, in the worst of my flooded pastures. Suppose to get more rain for Sunday. At least its not tornado weather, I'll take happy little showers all day to one of those.

I also got a bunch of Cornish cross chickens in the same order but I get those for a different reason. Yes, yes I raise them for sale for food but they are free ranged on big chicken tractors all nice and organic, which means charge more.
