Chicken Quilt Block Swap---BLOCKS ARE IN THE MAIL!!!

I am doing mine by hand and only have 7 finished; if the decision is to do 24 I will probably be pushing the deadline but I will get them done..12 would be easier but I am with everyone else.

I think it should be 12 and if any one has 24 done then send them and they will get more variety back, or any amount for that matter. you would get back the same amount you sent in.

Yep..that would work too!! Goldy..

The above from Goldenluver - duh! - I don't know how to quote! Anyway, yes, let's send in all and get back whatever. I plan to make a couple afghan size anyway, so mixing is just fine.

I haven't signed up for this swap, but was trying one of the chickens tonight. After I copied the pieces so they were reversed, it occurred to me that it might be easier once I have the design reversed to attach it to light weight cardboard and cut them out on the line, and that would give me a template to draw around instead of trying to draw those pieces each time.

Let's go with 12 as the minimal amount. If you do the 24, you'll get 24 back.

Now. What do you think of my funky chicken?

Dunno about the all black. I like the black because it brings the colors out but................................

I need to adjust the width and spacing as well.
