I really don't think anyone meant anything bad but it was worded strange "whose cow passed away giving birth to 4 calves". it made it sound like one cow gave birth to 4 cows. I read it twice because I have only seen one set of twins born in our cows and thought oh my gosh that is neat a cow giving birth to four calves... Glad you have found a home for them and good luck with the chickens. I would take a few but I am In Alabama. Always looking for good egg layers

Let's get back on topic. Jennifer said the cows are going to a sanctuary. If this doesn't interest you, move on.

By the way, I know Jennifer personally and her reputation as an honest caring federally licensed wildlife rescuer is sterling.
She simply doesn't scam and I think has no time to sit and think up one.

Jennifer, thank you for taking care of these animals and the chicken. Wow!

Received from the waterfowl folks this A.M. -- for those of you that were thinking Carolina was too far for you, there is hope!

I want to thank everyone for all of their efforts to find as many
homes as possible for these hens—your help has been wonderful!

On the down side there is some new information about the rescue that
we just found out yesterday. Originally, we were informed the hens
would be released in the next couple of months (which was information
that was given to us a few weeks ago); however, now we have been
informed that the hens will not be released until May!! Which is many
months from now! I am very sorry that this information was incorrect
to begin with and I hope it does not put us in a position where we
lose homes, but I understand it may. I guess the good side of this
information is that we have more time to find homes for them!
