Really?I don't need it to protect the chickens from the weather
So the sides are not going to prevent potential climbing predators who would seek access from the top....meaning bird netting for aerial predators may not be sufficient. Add a stand for two of hotwire near the bottom, eliminating climbers, and netting woukd work. Netting also requires less structure as it is light....a simple post in center with betting going out from there and secured to the top of the wire sides for example, vs more structure for a wire based topperI mainly want to keep things out. The fence is 6 ft chicken wire reinforced with 4 in square wire. I don't need it to protect the chickens from the weather, just predators.
ill try to send pictues.
