Chicken Run Nearly Done (pics)

We're getting there, 1/2" mason wire arrives at hardware store tomorrow we're told. Suggestions appreciated- we're debating how to complete the 'floor' of the run with old chain link or with mason wire (hardware cloth). We keep waffling.

As for the floor, the thing to keep in mind is chainlink will keep out the bigger preditors but 1/2" hardware cloth will keep out everything including mice, rats, and snakes that could still get through the chainlink.

The 1/2" mesh arrived at the store today aso we'll work on the wire tomorrow. Then Tuesday the corrugated panels should come and then we can work on the doors.

We live just above a tiny river valley, a very sweet place if sever in winter. We're surrounded by orchards, dairy / beef farms, and poultry. Time for our own!
