Chicken run oddities!!

What were you planing for an actual coop style, if we can get the math to work? Can you do an open air coop in your area or do the bylaws require an enclosed coop?
The coop will be above the run. The run must be fully enclosed. If it's 10 squared feet (10 feet per hen) then the 70+ I have should be good. As long as I'm reading the math correctly.

Each chicken should have a minimum of 4sq ft in coop, 10sq ft in run, 1 foot of roost, and 1 sq ft of 24/7 ventilation. So for 5 hens you would need 20sq ft of coop space, 50sq ft of run space, 5 feet of roost, and 5 sq ft of ventilation. Also you would only need 3 nesting boxes.

So a 10'x5' run for 5 hens? Not 50'x50'

An elevated coop similar to these?

Thank you! I'm pretty sure I had most of that and then managed to confuse myself again. 😅

Ditto. The original meters would be worse though.
50'x50' would be 2,500 sq ft. Bigger then my house.
My local guy was trying to tell me I need 10x10 (10 feet squared) vs 10 Square feet. So I called the bylaw officer who gave me the same answer. I asked him to kindly confirm his math and get back to me. Thank you for confirming my thoughts!
