MY chicken or chickens have started to lay first I got small eggs then in between now one large one . I have seven about the same age , about eighteen weeks they or she started last week. what I would like to know now is do I start to give them laying feed?

i would. if you still have the chick feed, i'd buy a bag of layer and just throw both out for them. once the chick feed is gone, just do the layer feed.

excess calcium can be hard on chicken kidneys.
I would feed grower and provide oyster shell free choice until at least half are laying.
pullets laying under 20 weeks are more susceptible to egg binding and prolapse
