Her poop is like a dark green with some white but its not diahhria
She gets food that has fatty amini acids, nutrieted water and this liquid we add to there water supply so they wont get worms or parasites.
I dont know alot about eggs but she not a egg laying chicken, her blood is gamefowl but im not sure if that makes a diffrence.
Yes, I see now that she is a gamefowl, so she probably won't lay many, if any, eggs until next spring.Anything you reccomend to rule out worms?
How long have you had the hen and how long has she been acting like a nut?Hey guys, i have a hen and you know she was healthy but wasent active dosent eat much and sleeps alot she like that everyday, but today when i was rakeing leaves i saw her and she keeps moving like she see's stuff around her and she moved her head alot its dark already and she still acting crazy, she acts like a crackhead if i must say. she loose and we give her food and water..... any ideas what has happen??
Thanks Alot man Ill post what we add to the chickens water in a bit.Yes, I see now that she is a gamefowl, so she probably won't lay many, if any, eggs until next spring.
If you can post a photo of the products you use in your water that would be good.
I would see if she will eat some chick starter, give her a direct dose of poultry vitamins 2 times a week and cut out whatever you are adding to her water for the time being. You can get Valbazen or Safeguard at feed stores like Tractor Supply.
I know she is probably flighty and hard to catch, but if you can, try to check her crop for a couple of mornings to see if it's empty.
Dosage for Valbazen is 1/2 ml orally and then repeated in 10 days. Fenbendazole (Safeguard) dosage is 1/4 ml per pound given for 5 days in a row.
