Chicken sick: lathargic, yellow poo-- 4 days now

Seems like she's dehydrated
Can you give her some electrolytes I water her poo didn't look like egg yolk

But might be she's having Ecoli monitor her poop
Look closely for sneezing , wet eyes

White chalky poop realted with maninly bacterial infection or It's lost it's bile (mainly weak liver)which is unable to form it's color

Or respiratory infection like CRD
Or Newcastle (Raniketh)

So the buff chicken is still sick, now 11 days. Yesterday my husband was working in the yard common to the chickens and the dogs and noticed fresh dog poop loaded with small white worms. I know that can't be good.

Anyone have suggestions where to go from here?

Can you take a sample of your dog's poop to the vet so you can find out the type of worms you saw?

Dog worms are usually host specific unless what you saw were hookworms. Chickens and people can get hookworms from dog poop. Dog roundworms are not zoonotic. It sounds like you need to de-worm your dog - your vet can advise you on the best way to do that.

While you have the vet check the dog poop, take a few samples of chicken poop with you to have that tested as well. It's always best to know what type of worms you are dealing with, if any, before you treat.
