chicken sick? with one eye closed the other open won't leave chicken coop

Hello I'm Michelle and I have a problem. One chicken would not leave the coop today and upon closer examination one eye is closed, and it will not eat. What should I do? I am already removing it from the rest of the flock.

So sorry about your bird. Is the face and eye swollen shut? Crusty looking?Any other respiratory issues going on? It would help if you could describe more in detail.

Alright Michelle,

great to have you joining the BYC flock

BYC has a very useful learning center

You can pick one of these up at any medical outlet store or
some feed stores have something similar and a great way to
put some water or med's into the crop .....
