Ha! I am not making fudge until two days before the show. So I will be in one kitchen making fudge and the bakers are making the rest of it in the big production kitchen. Then boxing and wrapping.

I must be nuts. I have to have over 20lbs of fudge made in two days.

I have to soap 6 weeks prior to every event...it is frustrating. I wish I could do it two days before...less planning and STORAGE!
I got an order from Stonewall Farm for 52 bars...they are giving them to their customers for X-mas or something. I was thrilled....they have been very good to me. I gave them 10% discount!! Most of their customers own their own farm stands, etc and I look at it as free advertising and I GOT paid for them to advertise for me.

I forwarded your website to my family and friends...I hope you do not mind. We are trying to purchase HANDMADE this year....we have banned BIG box store presents. I took the handmade challenge again!

I just wish I wasnt so addicted to Etsy and all things handmade.

I just bought the cutest hat. LOL And am waiting on other things.
Less storage? Ah ha. My pantry is filled with fudge making stuff. And I have to make a run to BJs this weekend and have my dh make the chocolate run since he works in Harvard Square and my choc supplier is close to him. I get three pounds of fudge per pan. And I am going to be making A LOT of fudge for the next event. If I didnt mind selling week old(or older) fudge I would be set. But I dont like it when it is that old. So I try not to sell fudge older than 4 days. My kitchen space on the South Shore is shared. So I have to be sure that they dont need the second set of burners or work tables when I am there. I have them helping me this year, since the kid is in school and I am actually working. But I still have to drop the kid off, swing by, cut and box the pans they make. Not fun

Sounds great! I'd love to see her.

Are you interested in another pet silkie? I have a 3-4 month old buff (not sure of the sex yet). It can't be shown or used in my breeding flock because of a straight comb and only 4 toes on one foot, so I'm looking for someone to adopt it as a pet. Very sweet, cute and fluffy little bird.

muffi, i lost my favorite roo i got from you . a fox came into the yard while my dh and goats and chickens were all outside at 1230 in the afternoon. very scary. he had my std hen i got from you in his mouth but dh threw his cell phone and hammer and it dropped her. she seemed in shock . so we went walking to see if we could find where he hides out and found my honk honk, it was a shock and i am sick over it, he was a great bird, thank you for him. and i am sorry about this news. it happens i know, it stinks i hate it:( here is a pic, he was getting so big

I'm so sorry for your loss too...it really shows how attached we become in such a short time.

Elvis got lose from his quarantine coop and he was missing for 1 whole night. The neighbor called and said she saw him running down the road. We grabbed our net and trotted down the road and there he was...scared to death...wet...and NOT happy. We and a few neighborhood boys caught him...we flushed him all the way thru the woods and a river stopped him from going anywhere else. MAN he is a Fast runner! He is happy, dry, and WARM now in his coop...

I hope you feel better soon!!
