This is gonna be a weird post. So basically im a senior in high school, and for my cultural studies class we have a world fair sort of thing where we each have a country and have a booth where students can visit and walk through, a lot of people I think. And my group's country is Swaziland, a small African country. They have agriculture and livestock as a source of income and food so I wanted to bring in my most docile chicken Marmaduke in to bring attention to my booth lol. Granted this is a suburban area and probably half the students have never seen a chicken before except in their food. I wanted to do bring her in not only for the presentation but also to show these students how nice chickens are! Okay so my question is, will this stress her out? I in no way want to hurt her she's my baby!! Shes not use to a lot of people and im afraid ill stress her out a lot, but would say 1 hour in a stressful environment hurt her?
Weird thread but give me input lol thanks

Strange people and places can stress a chicken, but if you have your chicken in a pet crate that has a solid roof, she should feel secure. Chickens are prey animals and having a solid roof gives them a sense of having "cover" from predators, and it would have a calming effect.

..and do some trial runs...to get her used to being in a crate and being other places,
and to get your crate working well.
Food dish and/or at least water...
.....might not need either if sh'es really only going to be out for hour
How ya gonna handle poop?
What kind of crate do you have?
I use these but not in 'public', could be messy.

I would say have a backup plan. If she is really stressed, have somewhere lined up, dark and quiet where she can safely be away from everything until you can take her home.
So she would be fine if I had a dog cage covered with a blanket? And I can have my mom take her home she doesnt have to be there all day. Also would she be happier if I brought her sister too?

I have a diaper for her. Otherwise I dont think the school would let me bring her in lol. And im planning on giving lots of treats and a water dish.
