Chicken Stuck Upside Down Help

This evening I discovered one my free rangers stuck upside down between two peices of wood. She had to have been there for at least eight hours. She is awake, breathing normally and no rapid heart rate. She can't stand without tipping over and I can't feel any broken leg bones. I am very concerned to say the least.
I have her in a small dog crate so she won't flop over. She did take a dropper full of water. What else should I do and watch for?

Give her time in the crate.

Holding them upside down puts them in a sort of trance.

Maybe just dizzy.

Hopefully she gets well

I have not seen this, but suspect she will get reoriented on her own with time. However, I would be concerned if she could have aspirated her crop contents. Please keep a lookout for that.

I don't have one of her flopped over, she looked possessed when I found her. Head bent backwards , feathers fluffed up and feet in the air.

I left Fern alone in a quite dark room for an hour and she is already looking better. She repositioned herself in the crate and is peeking out of the sides at us. She also took some more water. Fingers crossed.

I am worried too. So far her breathing isn't congested or labored so hopefully she didn't have much to aspirate to begin with.

her leg might be sore for a couple days, but that should pass with time

is she eating?
