chicken swallowed a necklace

My chicken

, we took my chicken to the vet and turns out they did X-rays on her and she has a necklace in her intestine. Will she eventually be able to digest it or pass it? Maybe throw it up or poop it out? What could I do?
Hopefully she will be able to pass the necklace. You have some good suggestions on your thread, they can be found here:

I would not rely on ACV to break down metal in the digestive system. It *might* cause metal to rust, but it surely will not dissolve it.
Chickens ingest metals which can cause an assortment of health problems in time. There's even a name for it, it's called "Hardware Toxicity".
Give her apple cider vinegar in water and chopped up tomatoes. The acidity will help break down the metal and hopefully your chicken will survive.

It could help break it down so it doesn’t cause physical damage or obstruction to her digestive tract leading to death, which is the primary concern right now. I’m not sure about metal poisoning if she does survive. I don’t think she’ll get parasites from it though. How is she doing?

If the metal rusted through it could break into smaller pieces which might help the chicken to pass it? Or would it be bad because the rusting would cause more toxicity in the system?

For dogs you would feed them copious amounts of raw sauerkraut every two hours as it will kind of wrap itself around/encase the foreign object thus preventing it from causing harm and get stuck.
Works great with dogs.

I don't know if it would help with chickens having ingested necklaces, but I would try it as a last resort.

None of it would be good. Still going to have Toxicity.

Wonders how long it would take acv and tomato to rust through a piece of jewelry?

Doesn't it depend on where in the intestine the necklace has lodged? If far down then any acid she ingests will be broken down before it gets there, plus you'd surely have to have a strong acid (which would harm her) not a weak solution of highly diluted ACV and tomatoes?

I think OP has two options: wait it out and see what happens or euthanise.

Perhaps fibrous material would help to wrap round it and push it along? Grass for instance. I'm only guessing but it wouldn't harm.

She’s not doing the best right now. She’s not eating as much, she isn’t pooping as much, her favorite foods and treats we should to give her, she doesn’t have much interest in them. The fluid on her bottom is building up again, when we took her to the vet they had to put needles to drain the fluids she had on her bottom and even told us it’s going to be the same process over and over until she poops it out and it breaks me because I remember her screams. Me and my mom starred at each other dead in the eyes when I heard it. Breaks my heart because her favorite treats we fed her she would always run to us in excitement as we called her name, now she doesn’t even bother to look sometimes.

I haven’t tried the acv yet, I’m worried what it would do to her. Should I try it? We bought it but haven’t done it yet

She barley eats grass now it’s hard to feed her certain things when she doesn’t have an interest in many things she loved to eat.

I'm very sorry, as mentioned on your thread, it may be time to make a decision to put her out of her misery.
It sounds like the chain/metal has been in the intestines for a while if she's showing symptoms and the vet had to drain fluid from the ?abdomen? (Again) and suggested that the process would have to be repeated over and over again.
Hardware Toxicity often causes sepsis, so if she's in a state of decline, is starving and in pain, then kindly ending her misery is something you should discuss with your Mom.

They showed us the x ray it was the only necklace in her and she showed symptoms too so it was definitely recently because she was never like that or even acted like that before. The chain was very long as well. It’s near or in her intestine.

I have a feeling she will pass by metal poisoning or even starvation. She isn’t eating as much. When we took her to the vet, the whole bottom of her was swollen. They had to put needles to drain her. She’s building up all that fluid again because not only can she digest properly but she can’t even eat properly either. It’s so sad because her. Favorite foods we feed her and she doesn’t eat it

Update: she’s much better actually, she’s eating her favorite foods again and when we call her over she comes :) she’s more active again and happy. She eats some of her chicken feeding again, we give her yogurt and house food. As well as bread and other snacks and treats she loves like greens, veggies, and fruits! She doesn’t eat AS much as before but her eating is picking up again. I honestly thank all the prayers I’ve been doing they have been working! She’s been pooping much more, not as much as before but much much more :)
