Chicken Swallowed My Earring???

Hi guys,
My favorite pullet (about 8 weeks old) Buffy was sitting on my shoulder when suddenly, she pulled out my earring and swallowed it. Is there anything that I can do to get it out? Any danger signs that it has gotten stuck or tore something in the digestive track? I can't lose her... Help please.

Also- the earring was about an inch long, with a metal ball at the top and a metal bar without a point at the back.

You may want to try and look down her throat.

How would I go about doing that?

Gently holding her head, pry open her mouth. It is not that hard.
