someone came today and bought mine, so i am out of layers

wow , did you keep anything for your self?
I am keeping all my layers for now. I have orders for 5 doz eggs a week not counting hatching eggs

when everyone starts laying I shouldnt have too much trouble keeping that many supplied, right now I am getting between 6 and 10 eggs a day so all is good so far.

I have a broody rooster.
had I not checked his hackles I would have argues it was a hen.
that Blue Orpington has decided any egg layed near him is his and sits them

I so have got to get a picture of this.

Ok I have the strangest offer on the table for Merrimack swap.
Coming in tonight there is a well tamed rat, kinda fawnish in color, I havent seen it as yet nor do I know what the rats temperment truely is. I do how ever know the girl who owns it. and she is great with animals so this one is going to l ikely be just a pet type thing.

NOW! I HATE RATS! i do not want to keep this darned thing any longer than I have to.
as soon as it gets here I will get a picture and a temperment on it. if it doesnt bite me it will be fine for anyone else,
