Shay, I just wanted to let you know that the baby brahmas are doing real well. I put them in with 5 silkie mixes I got in Candia and they get along real good. Maybe because they are the same size and color.
Lisa I put your little brahma in with Big Daddy and his girl and the girl squabbled a little with her and Big Daddy got in between them and they are all doing fine now.
I know Big Daddy is a happy camper.........lol.

You know we can fix that, got home from RI and went into the "Chick Room" and said oh my why.... There are a few that need homes. I'm looking to see if there is a young porc. D'anvers pullet in there....

We hit everything on the way home, the snow stopped us for a few hours in MA., pulled into a rest stop and slept in the Van, love that bed, now we just need a portable heater so we don't have to keep it running. Do they make emergancy heaters for when you break down? that would work well.

There are two in there, but they are pretty young about 8 weeks, just fully feathered. Sarah isn't going to keep anymore of them

hi shay, did i ever get back to you and let you know the eggs didnt get sent out yet? the hens went broody so i am on a wait .

also, what breeds will you be working with for the spring?

Oh the breeds that i am trying to work with are, cochin both bantam and standard, polish, frizzle, oegb, phoenix if i can find some hens, oh i have sultans and brabanters, so a mix of things but keeping them all pure breeds.
oh and of course silkies and showgirls, unfortaly i lost one of the silkies i got from you, dont know why , i found her in the coop yesterday. i think it was becouse hubby opened the coop door and he thought they would go back in after eating but i think she got wet and thenm with the cold.

so so far i only one silkie he, i need more.
