CHICKEN SWAP MAY 23 MILFORD NH

I should have a trio of Iowa Blue chicks as well. Two pullets and a roo. Once I figure out for sure which ones they are. They will be 4 weeks old.
Some d'Uccle chicks, st. run.
And depending on how things work out I may actually be able to make this swap. No baseball or softball that day that I know of yet.

Firedove!
I'm interested in a couple of your Wyandotte crosses~how will I find you?
I'm bringing:
1 Silver Sebright
1 Salmon Faverolle (bantam)
2-3 frizzle/sebright crosses
2-3 Salmon Faverolle/Sussex crosses
and who knows what else!
Oh, probably some bunnies: new zealand/mini lop crosses~will be big!

Barbara, I will be the woman with long brown hair, shorts, a big grey aircast boot, and a limp.

I may also have some etched glass and some paintings but no guarantee on that just yet.

Speaking of the etched glass. Anyone have some thoughts on what designs I should etch? Not looking for specific orders (although those are welcome too) just ideas on what you all think will sell well.

For the paintings I was thinking about doing some chickens and chicks on canvas board so I can charge less for them since the canvas board is considerably cheaper than an actual stretched canvas. Plus canvas board can go right into a standard frame. Any other thoughts on what I should paint? Again, specific orders are welcome. I will have canvas board pricing on Sunday since I haven't bought them in quite a while but will be picking some up on Saturday.

I still have 4 SS pullets and some of the Wyandotte crosses to sell. A couple of the Wyandotte crosses have 1 "angel wing." Not sure where that came out of since none of my breeding chickens have any genetic anomalies. Must just be one of those weird crossbreeding things that happen.

I believe I will still have some purebred Netherland Dwarf babies, reasonably priced.

And in sad news, my favorite chick from the hatch, little "Bounce" passed away yesterday evening

Duh, Val...I know you! Took me a minute, I bought "Milo" from you.

So sorry about your chick "Bounce" ~ it's always hard to lose one (or my case 5 in the last 2 days

What is "angel wing"?

Adding: Anyone bringing turkey poults?

Ha, I know you too! I didn't recognize the BYC name though.

Sorry to hear about your chickie losses too! Bounce was especially special to me because she was the one who I had to help hatch so she hatched out into my hand. She was very attached to me and never wanted to be put down. She would peep so loud until I came and got her and then she would fall asleep in my hand or snuggled under my hair against my neck.

I just went to take a pic of a chick with angel wing but what do you know, they have grown out of it. I hadn't looked at them really close since yesterday around noon time because I was so broken up when I came home and found Bounce had passed. "Angel Wing" is when the primary feathers on the wing stick out to the side. My friend has a goose with two angel wings, I'll have to see if I can post a pic of his boy on here sometime. It's actually very cute but I'm not sure what causes it.

will these be chicks or started birds? do you know yet if the bantam fav is a pullet? i'd love to get a lady for my Charlie when he is old enough.

as for that 'angel wing' thing, i think i have 2 salmon favs that may/maynot out grow it. strangely it is both males.

Personally I do not have a need for stained glass, but if you can make window hangers, like big ornaments sort of, they would probably go over well. I know a lot of people who like to get stained glass hangers to hang in their windows.

They are all chicks. The only 'adult' bird I'm bringing is my Blue Splash Cochin & I know he's a rooster:(

The bantam faverolle (I'm told) is a rooster. I've had 2 people tell me, because his wings feathers are black~

I've a baby mottled cochin with the 'angel wings' ~ makes sense, that's what they look like!
