Texas Poultry. I ordered them back in February, and at that time their first available date was this week. Now they don't know when they'll have them. They even tried to get an order of the more common breeds together instead and they were all gone too! The lady there said it's been just crazy this year.

I tried Ideal and they have a waiting list into next year, and Meyer was out too. I'm hoping my other order will arrive this week! I haven't been able to reach anyone there today (it's a small hatchery).

So I'll still be coming on Saturday but I may just be picking up chicks for various people. For anyone that has something for Poultry Run Farm in Maine (Laura Castle) I'm the one picking up for her. We're headed that way after the swap.

I just got a call---i won't be getting my SF females either this week.

They said they can try for next week, but will depend on the hatch. i guess i was real lucky to get my 2 welsummers and a couple of cuckoo marans last week. i had ordered 3 CM, but i am pretty sure that one was the one DOA. I also got 4 EE's, but one died the same day; i'm keeping one, and a friend wants the other two. I got 3 Barred Rocks, and 2 dominiques---which i was going to take to the Keene swap in June. If i do get my SF next week, I'm keeping a few for me, and will save the extras for the Keene swap.
