when spouses and family tell us to 'step away from the chickens' do we listen?!?? oooooh nooooo waaaaay! we grab those birdies in an instant and hide them where we can!
ok so just checking with the ladies - I'm not the only one that has a bra 2 sizes too big that can accommodate 6-8 chicks depending on size? RIGHT ? ? !

Dont need a bra to hide 'em in because the day he or anyone else that lives in my house would tell me NO is the day they can walk out the door! If I clean up after it, then no one has a right to tell me no! So no need to sneek anything in around here!

i made it out of a swap with one less chicken and didn't bring home any new ones! plus, on my way home i stopped in to one of my local farms and traded 2 pullets and the silkie cockerel for some plants! the lady that owns the farm was VERY happy to have a new little roo and some more girls to add to her tiny flock. she just got a nice little EE pullet earlier in the day from her daughter so she was having a great Mom's day!
i sold lots of jams and jelly today! if you got one and liked it let me know. if you didn't like it i'd like to know how i can improve it so let me know about that too!
