Hi, I had heard that. I think I'll try it with my own eggs but I'll try every one of the shipped ones I'm getting (FBCM).

I am so looking forward to the swap in Claremont this weekend!
If not sold out at the house I should be bringing:

13 wk old Americanas (EEs) & Gold Wyandottes - 32 total birds
8 wk old RIRs - 18 total birds
8 wk old White Rocks - 4 birds
8 wk old Deleware - 1
7 wk old Black Stars - 12 birds

I have 2 FBCM and 2 BCM chicks which someone backed out on, these are straight run and were hatched 7/11. Please let me know if interested as I will not bring them if they are not pre-sold.

The older birds tend to sell out very quickly at the swaps. If you're looking for older birds come by EARLY or chances are that they will be gone!

I still have birds available and i can't make it to a swap untill the end of august...

These birds are from McMurray Hatchery last year they hatched july 4th and i kept them around ro lay and hatch some eggs now i have there daughters and have no room for next years hatch so i have to keep the cycle going...

I have 3 Barred rocks left and 10 New Hampshire reds left... some have molted already and i get eggs from them already ( no idea which ones they are ) and the rest are almost done molting..

A breeding trio of Light Brahmas (2 hens and a roo) 13 months

A breeding trio of Marans - Blue birchen roo who carries the copper gene as well with 2 Marans hens. 14 months

A breeding pair or trio of Blue Black and Splash Marans - a Blue Copper roo over a black copper hen. I can also add a blue hen or a splash hen to go with this group.

A large beautiful White Cochin roo

2 very nicely laced Silver Laced Polish cockerels.

3 Black Birchen Marans cockerels that carry copper.

This is probably a long shot, but... Is there anyone in the Portsmouth or North Conway area with splash, blue or lavender Orpington pullets? They don't need to be show quality, but would need to be coop-ready. I'm in Maine (Sebago lake area), so I'm not sure if there are special regulations regarding selling/buying out of state... I'm about an hour from North Conway, hour and a half from Portsmouth. I am bad about checking back on threads, so please PM me if anyone can fill my desires!
