So sorry April I did not make your Chicken meet . I had to babysit the grand-girls . I placed an order with "Ideal Poultry" So I could get the Russain Orloff's I wanted.

what a busy weekend. I was amazed at how many people came out in the heat.
thanks to all the people who bought from me. I hope you all have the best of luck with your new kids.

I also have some empty cages at home. that is such a good feeling. I will not be refilling them. day to day chores just got easier.

I still have 2 guineas and a couple of holland lops for sale. they will be at the swap this saturday.

just scored 25 chicks from mypetchicken.com, 25 chicks for $49.50 and free shipping!!! so eggcited

does anyone know if they come from an NPIP tested flock?
how would i find out or even prove they did? i dont need 25 chicks, i so dont have the coop space for it, my run is big enough but so not my coop. i guess if i cant sell alot of them then hubby has to build a new coop.

Good for you!

I got my new breeding roosters from them and are very happy with them.
I got a label from them that list the breeds i got and everything i just tore of the box they came in that I keep in a binder and it says they are NPIP tested and approved.. they kind of have to be if not they can't sell birds across state lines.

your very true on the NPIP i thought about that after. i couldnt believe the deal so i called just to check

, i still want barred rocks, but my 2 golden comets are the nicest ones in my little flock.

i couldnt pass the deal up cause when i was first looking to order chicks from them they wanted $35+ to ship 6-8 chicks and that was totally crazy to me.
