well , we been resently told that the kids/teens that stole some of our chickens awhile back hav ebeen re-entering our yard . We did find lil things missing and damaged .

Like fence damaged , missing roll of chicken wire , they moved a wire cage BUT could not get it thru the gate .

Hubby is phoning back to add to the last 3 police reports . THEY better PRAY ( Mike ) hubby dont catch them in our yard , their parents just might be paying for a 6 ft. hole for them . ENOUGH is enough. PARENTS can not STOP kids and teenagers still makes them responsible . ANOTHER thing , both parents are working and kids and teenagers DO AS THEY WISH . Well , they can do so all they want , BUT NOT IN MY YARD .

cajunlizz, go to walmart and pick up a game cam. file a report with photographic proof. Take the family to small claims court for your losses.

I have already filed charges and have witness'es . EVEN caught them with my chickens in their possession on their property in cages , and they admitted to doing it ALL , the oldest was arrested and I managed to get 4 out of 6 chickens returned .

BUT , they continue to enter my property . I can NOT wait for the court date .

Maybe I am being naive (not ever having been at the bottom of a 12' hole), but couldn't you just climb out of one?

I have done a reasonable amount of rock climbing in my time and know that you can hold and balance on some pretty tiny protrusions.

I mean, couldn't you kick little divots into the wall and use them to climb up?

Ok, this has me thinking. I think I gotta go find a 12' hole somewhere and try to climb out of it. Curiosity and the cat, you know.
