Chicken Trying to trick me?

Hi guys,
My light Sussex, Daisy, is a cheeky gal. She always has been, and always will be. But, I recently noticed she goes into the nest box, pretends to lay, sings the egg song, and comes out having not layed. She's not egg bound, or have any "problem" of that matter. She's happy as can be. Just strange and cheeky Any ideas what she's doing?

I have heard people before saying they are practicing laying an egg? I don't really know. Sorry to not be much of a help.

It's fine. It's weird, she was laying before the winter, now is!
