Chicken wire

never had a problem with predators getting in thru the wire yet ....but then my dogs tell me when anything comes up that doest belong....
so you know i am surrounded by predators, i live 1/4 mile back in the woods.

Tractor Supply and similar type stores are much cheaper than what you originally looked at. They usually have someone around that can answer any questions you might have. If you are looking for predator...I would buy some extra wire and place an apron around your coop and run. Good luck with everything and avoid ebay for chicken supplies. Some of the sellers are great and some are not.

That's cheap! Here in Massachusetts the best I could find is 1/2 in. x 48 in. x 25 ft. 19-Gauge Hardware Cloth from Home Depot for $65. I will keep scouring craigslist..

I use 2x4 welded wire over 1 inch chicken hex wire found it to be the cheapest way as hardware cloth around here runs over 100 dollars for 50 feet...I get the welded wire for 125 for 150 feet and 35 for 150 feet of the hex.

And if that doesn't work, perhaps I will try this idea!
