Chicken With A Pussie Butt

Ok, so i think its pasty butt. One of my chickens I think has it. This may sound stupid but, what in the world is past butt?

Pasty butt happens with newly hatched chicks... it is when the chick poops, but it fails to drop clear of their rear end... it ends up drying and sticking to their vent and plugging it up stopping them from pooping... simply soak their vents in warm water and gently wash their vent clear... usually doing that once is enough, but watch it in case it happens again and just repeat the process as needed...

Ok, thanks. This is on a full grown serum hen. I washed her butt w warm water and then set her back outside. 20 minutes later her butt is foaming again that whitish watery/pasty stuff. Whats going on?

I am sorry, but I actually have no idea what it is.
But I do know that it is not pasty butt, so that is off the table so to speak. Can you take pics and post them up? Maybe someone has dealt with it before and can recognize it. It is harder to figure it out without seeing it.

Sounds like vent gleet. It is like a yeast infection in humans.
