Chicken with bad infection on mouth/face (was Vitamin B complex injectable dosage for chicken)

Her test results are in. She has gram negative and gram positive bacteria. She also has saprophytic fungus... i have read up on it a little. Not sure if there's hope to cure. Just wanted to update y'all. :)
There is an anti fungal that you used to be able to get. @casportpony likely knows the name and status.

You would have to figure out which infection is more critical and tread it first.

Euthanasia is also an option

They ran a gram stain and an fungal culture as well as anaerobic. I am not euthanizing! Are you serious? She made it 11 months! She is good otherwise. I am not giving up on her. I will treat with baytril for the pus/ infection in a few days, then i hope I'll have an anti fungal that will exterminate the stupid fungus! If said fungus was a person... he'd be dead by now. lol

Just an option to keep in mind if suffering gets to a certain point.

Chickens are sensitive to treatments. It is best to treat for one thing at a time

I will never overtreat. One thing at a time! She seems ok. She has her heat lamp. Snacks, and drinks. Poops ok. As long as my Anna seems ok, i will try. Sadly, people that say, that chickens are great at hiding pain don't know their chickens. She lets me know when she doesn't feel well. As long as she can keep her eyes open and doesn't seem to be on death's door, i will try and help her.

For a fungal infection, I would use ketoconazole or fluconazole, and I might also use Nystatin.

You can treat the bacterial infection and the fungal infection at the same time.
