No. I wouldn't add unnecessary heat. It's mostly for light and to keep the temp somewhat stable because of the a.c. vent being in the ceiling. Before you ask if she's in a drafty area, no. She has towels on top so she's safe from that. Answers are a little short because i am cooking and phone is lagging
