Here’s miss Artemis today. Oddly enough it seems like her eye and head swelling isn’t as bad as it was yesterday? Hopefully that isn’t just me.

I’m gonna let her free range with her sisters for a bit before I take her in for day 3.

I appreciate all of you that have joined me on this journey, it’s helped me feel less alone.

Here she is!

I had a very late start on her today, super busy.

The lighting in the photos doesn’t show quite how hollow the hole is becoming.

I’m starting to see areas where it’s opening up a little bit.
Sadly I work tomorrow directly after school until 8 PM so it’s going to be difficult to squeeze in a time for her usual session.

Her eye still looks funky, but the swelling hasn’t gotten any worse.

I’ll probably trim up her beak tomorrow since it’s gotten way too long.

Seems like the swelling has gone down more. When she’s not stressed it just looks like her other eye.

It really does look like her right eye area has gone down a lot. You are doing a great job.

That's terrific. Have your meds arrived yet? Hoping for marked improvement once she can start the antibiotics.

I think it's improving. I bet all the swelling will resolve once you get the plug out of the nostril.
