Hey, I have an 18 month old speckled sussex hen. Last night when I went to give treats to the hens, she didn't come running. She stayed under the tree. When I went to see what was up, she had extremely constricted pupils. When I touched her, she stood up very straight, almost like a runner duck. I picked her up with no problems. None of my hens is this tame.
I isolated her, and she's still alive this morning. She didn't lay an egg today, so I don't know if she has normal eggs or not.
I did my best with veterinary searches, but can't find anything that exactly fits. Marek's is the closest, but she's a hatchery hen and was vaccinated.
Anyone have any ideas? She's isolated for now.
