Chicken with skull showing

I have a poullet that's skull is showing. I came out in the morning and found her. I have had one other chicken do this and she passed away. I'm am wondering how this happened and how I can help her. I'm thinking that one of the larger roosters tried to breed her and when he grabbed her head the skin completely came of. Right now she is indoors and I'm putting iodine and potrolem jelly mixed with iodine on it. Help.

Keep it clean and she should be fine. Featgers might grow in funky though if she scars. My quail have gone through worst and been fine for the most part
