My chicken has a swollen ear lobe (from a peck?) which I've tried cleaning and applying neosporin to the initial wound but it hasn't healed. When I first noticed it I squeezed some puss out but since then there has been no puss just blood if I squeeze it. What should I do? ( the blue on her feather was blukote)

Eyelobes can swell from infections and respiratory diseases. There is a direct link between the roof of their beaks into the ears. Do you think that might be what is going on, and the peck was incidental and caused an abscess? You can try cleaning out her ear canal with a QTip to see if there is any viral or bacterial gunk inside. Mites can also be a problem. Plain Triple Antibiotic Ointment can be put into the ear canal if there are mites or infection. If there is no infection inside, I would probably just watch it.

Are you seeing any nasal drainage, watery eyes, sneezing, rattly breathing, head shaking, or other signs of a respiratory disease? Sometimes dirty nostrils can be a sign of drainage when dirt sticks to it.

Yea it was most likely a peck because there was dried blood on it when I first came across it. There's also a tiny hole on it where a scab has formed. Thanks for the tips.
