Chicken with Watery white poop

She is alive, she is spending the day at the vet (again) because the pain meds weren't working well enough last night, and they are monitoring her before I can bring her home again.

They removed a lot from her crop, but didn't find what they were expecting during surgery. They took a culture and a few biopsies, so waiting for those results. She has a feeding tube now which is a lot easier than shots or force feeding.

Yesterday she was active, and being difficult to get her to rest (no jumping, no eating are difficult requests), then went really lethargic after the evening feed so she went back to the vet. The report was she is doing better on a different pain medication. So just waiting till I can pick her up.

The barium study showed a shadow so they expected part of the gut to be distended or have a mass or something. But there was nothing. The duodenum was slightly discolored so it was biopsied and cultured the pancreas and crop were also biopsied.

Her name is Alice. A couple current pictures so she isn't looking her best

I have an 8 week old chick that is an Easter Egger. She is solid black in color and her name is “Pepper”.

It never ceases to amaze me at how different Easter Eggers can look due to the mixture of their genetics.

Pepper sends love to her distant cousin, Alice. Hang in there, @ChickKeeper ! ❤️
